  • Will you take a puppy back if the owner can't take care of it properly?
GETTING A DOG IS A 15 YEAR COMMITMENT, WE WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT BEFORE YOU GET A PUPPY FROM US. HOWEVER, WE ALSO KNOW LIFE HAPPENS AND SOMETIMES THE BEST THING FOR OUR PUPPIES IS TO FIND NEW HOMES THAT CAN TAKE CARE OF ALL THEIR NEEDS. WE WILL TAKE A PUPPY BACK AT ANY POINT OF THEIR LIFE AND FIND THEM A NEW HOME. WE NEVER WANT OUR PUPPIES NEGLECTED, ABUSED, ENDING UP HOMELESS OR IN SHELTERS AND ARE COMMITTED TO THEM FOR LIFE.
  • Are your dogs health tested?
Yes, all of our dogs are fully health tested and genetically clear before we add them to our breeding program. Including OFA Hips, Elbows, CAER, Advanced Cardiac, Patella, Dentition, PennHip and a full genetic panel through Embark.
  • Do you have a health guarantee?
Yes, we do have a 2 year limited health guarantee. It is in our contract if you would like to review it.
  • How do you socialize your puppies?
We follow The Puppy Culture System! Our puppies will have ENS & ESI done starting at 3 days old. We raise them in our home with our 3 young children. We also bring in other animals for them to meet (bunnies, chicks, cats) so they are comfortable around all other animals. We try and visit an assisted living center and make trips to Home Depot and through the drive thru! We have background noise playing in the puppy room with cars, doorbells, fireworks, ect to make sure they are used to all kinds of sounds! My goal is to have them introduced to 100+ people before they leave us. I try hard to introduce them to people of all genders, ages, and races. They leave us very well loved and socialized.
  • Do you provide any training for the puppies?
Yes, we do start basic obedience training, they will be introduced to a crate and have crate time daily, we start potty training them, and take them on car rides often.
  • Can I meet the puppies and the parents?
Absolutely! We encourage it! We raise our puppies in home with our family and we want you to come see that. They are very loved and cared for. The mama is one of our family pets and you can meet her while you're here. There will be times where the stud will be from a different breeding program and he won't be on site. We are very picky about the studs we use and are happy to provide proof of health testing & pedigree and give you the stud owners information so you can talk with them and meet him too! We have one male we are hoping to add to our program soon, if/when we use him, he will be on site for you to meet as well. If you are unable to come here for a visit, we are happy to do a facetime or zoom call!
  • What will my puppy come with?
Your puppy will be sent home with their first vaccinations, dewormer, and a health clearance from our vet. They will be microchipped and sent home with their AKC paperwork, temperament testing results, vet records, and pedigree. Their take home bag will have a bag of the kibble they have been eating, a blanket that smells like mom, treats, collar, leash, toys, and a bunch of other things to make the transition home as easy as possible.
  • Where are you located?
We live in a small farming community just outside of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
  • Do you do temperament testing?
Yes, we take every litter to have their temperament testing done at 7 weeks old. We currently use Volhard Temperament testing methods.
  • How old are the puppies when I can bring them home?
The puppies can go to their forever homes starting at 8 weeks.
  • Do you offer any kind of support after I bring my puppy home?
Absolutely!!! When you get a puppy from us you are part of our family, forever! We love to keep up with our puppy families. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have and offer recommendations to help make sure you're set up for success. If you have a question I can't answer, I will find it or find someone who can help you. I'm dedicated to these puppies for life! I'll help however I can!
  • How do I get my puppy? Do you deliver?
We do pick up from our home in Idaho Falls. We also offer flight nanny services for an extra cost.
  • When and how do I choose my puppy?
We take matching puppies pretty seriously and take multiple things into consideration. When filling out your application, it's important you give us as much information as possible so we know what puppy would fit best with you. We use the puppies temperament testing as a guide and like to wait until puppies are 7 weeks before we officially match them. We do take other things into consideration and work through our deposit list on a first come first serve basis when matching.
  • Can you provide references?
You bet! I'm happy to send you information to our vet, other breeders, trainers, guardian home families, and past puppy families. Let me know if you want me to send it to you.
  • Are your dogs AKC registered Golden Retrievers?
Yes they are! Our puppies are sold with AKC limited registration and sent home with the paperwork for you to register them. Full registration is available for approved breeders.
  • Do your dogs have AKC titles?
We are working with all our dogs to get them titled in multiple AKC events.
  • How do I get started?
If you're ready for a puppy, fill out an application. You can find it linked on our website. Once that is in we will reach out to answer any other questions. To officially hold a puppy you will need to send in you deposit. Once that is paid, I will reach out to you often to give updates on the litter, due dates, milestones, ect.
  • What do you feed your dogs & puppies?
We feed a mix of raw and kibble. Our current kibble of choice is Diamond Naturals Large Breed and Diamond Naturals Large Breed Puppy. We use a lot of raw goats milk for our puppies and adult dogs and fresh eggs and offer toppers to make every meal exciting. We like to offer high quality treats and often make our own.
  • Will my puppy be vaccinated before I pick them up?
Yes, your puppy will receive their first round of vaccinations and will be given dewormer.
